Competitions don't need to be licensed & teams don't need to appear in BadgeData.bin for it to work + no overwriting of any badgeXX.ftex. Armbands/Sleeve Patches are loaded as separate files. Badges/Armbands are loaded via map.txt / map_teams.txt.
Completely ignores BadgeData.bin and loads "badge.ftex" onto the right shoulder, and "badge-left.ftex" onto the left shoulder - taking both of those either from competition or team-specific folders.
BadgeData is respected by the game, if and only if there are no sleeve badges to load from content/badge-server. If there is at least one badge ftex (left or right - doesn't matter) - to be loaded by SleeveBadge-ArmbandServer.lua, then BadgeData will be completely ignored.
NEW In V3.4:
Edit Mode:
You can now load any sleeve badges in edit mode by mapping "0" to a competition folder in map.txt (see example below) to disable place ; in front of 0
Example:
Unk_Offset0x1C_Bits0to1=0 Will apply the Yellow captains armband for UCL/UEL/USC
Unk_Offset0x1C_Bits0to1=2 Will apply the Blue captains armband for UCL/UEL/USC code-box
0 = CL_captainmark_00.ftex
Example Map:
#EDIT MODE (Useful for sorting X Y patch positions)
0, "UCL"
Exhibition Matches:
You can also play exhibition matches with any sleeve badges by mapping "65535" to a competition folder in map.txt (see example below) to disable place ; in front of 65535
Example Map:
#EXHIBITION
65535, "UCL"
For usage watch the below video:

Now for some new findings in kit config bins ...easily apply-able via KitServers overlay settings:
It's now possible to add the correct colour of captains armband to your kitserver kit configs by editing the value "Unk_Offset0x1C_Bits0to1" in kitservers overlay settings (see example below)
Unk_Offset0x1C_Bits0to1=0 Will apply the Yellow captains armband for UCL/UEL/USC
Unk_Offset0x1C_Bits0to1=2 Will apply the Blue captains armband for UCL/UEL/USC code-box
0 = CL_captainmark_00.ftex
1 = CL_captainmark_01.ftex (same band as _00 by default = Yellow..so .ftex for _01 is not included for now)
2 = CL_captainmark_02.ftex
3 = appears to be ignored (defaulting to CL_captainmark_00.ftex)
So best to stick to settings 0 & 2 (Note: this will not interfere with league armbands as I've made both _00 & _02 the same for leagues so it doesn't matter whether kitserver loads 0 or 2 / for leagues/cups that don't use a specific armband then the armbands from the kit texture will be used)
Note: These settings must be applied manually by You. I/We cannot do this for you.
2 = CL_captainmark_02.ftex
3 = appears to be ignored (defaulting to CL_captainmark_00.ftex)

How to Install:
First uninstall any previous versions (This also means delete the badge-server folder, don't just overwrite it)
1. Copy the "badge-server" folder to your Sider "content" folder
2. Place the "SleeveBadge-ArmbandServer.lua" in your Sider "modules" folder
3. Add the following line to your Sider.ini
4. Best to download the new KitServer module with support for SleeveBadge-ArmbandServer from HERE
Sider.ini Example:
lua.module = "lib\CommonLib.lua"
lua.module = "Tournament Anth Tunnel.lua"
lua.module = "MLMyTeam.lua"
lua.module = "MenuServer.lua"
lua.module = "BibServer.lua"
lua.module = "StaffServer.lua"
lua.module = "MockStadium.lua"
lua.module = "BallServer.lua"
lua.module = "RefKitServer.lua"
lua.module = "BallBoysServer.lua"
lua.module = "SleeveBadge-ArmbandServer.lua" <- No specific order...this line can go anywhere.
lua.module = "ScoreboardServer.lua"
lua.module = "BannerServer.lua"
lua.module = "StadiumServer.lua"
Structure Info
1. The badge0.ftex/badge1.ftex/badge2.ftex will now only load onto right shoulder. And badge0-left.ftex/badge1-left.ftex/badge2-left.ftex always go to the left shoulder.
2. The BOH badges (really any team-specific badge) follow the same rules, except they are loaded from team folder.
